We are seeking a hands-on, capable and trustworthy Full-Time Store Manager to lead our COTTI COFFEE store at Westfield North Lakes. This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading from the front, and building a well-run store with strong service, strong standards, and a positive team culture. About the Role This role is ideal for an experienced store or café leader who can take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store and act as the owner’s trusted on-site manager during the week. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with COTTI operating procedures, and keeping the store running smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. The COTTI team will provide training, but we are looking for someone who already has the maturity, judgement, and practical management experience to run a store confidently. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the store and ensure smooth opening, trading, and closing
- Lead, supervise, coach, and support the team to deliver fast, friendly, and consistent customer service
- Ensure drinks and products are prepared and presented to brand standard at all times
- Follow and enforce COTTI SOP, food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety requirements
- Handle customer complaints and service recovery professionally, calmly, and effectively
- Manage rostering, shift coverage, attendance, and team performance
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members
- Manage stock ordering, stock control, wastage, and supplier coordination as required
- Oversee cash handling, banking, POS accuracy, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Monitor labour, sales, and general store performance to help achieve business targets
- Keep the owner informed through regular updates on store performance, staffing issues, customer feedback, and operational matters
- Escalate serious issues promptly and use sound judgement to solve routine issues independently
- Maintain a positive, accountable, and team-focused workplace culture About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Shift Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role in hospitality or retail
- Proven ability to run day-to-day store operations with minimal supervision
- Strong people leadership skills and confidence managing a team on shift
- Experience with rostering, stock control, cash handling, and general store administration
- Strong customer service skills, including confidence in resolving complaints and difficult situations
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability
- A hands-on leadership style — willing to lead from the front and support the team during busy periods
- A professional, dependable, and trustworthy approach
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required Desirable
- Experience in coffee, café, QSR, or high-volume food and beverage environments
- Experience working within brand systems and standard operating procedures
- Chinese language skills are an advantage, but not essential What We Offer
