About the role and team Our personal injuries team is dedicated to protecting the rights and entitlements of our clients. We now have an exciting opportunity to join our Personal Injuries team as a Legal Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role can be based out of our North Lakes or Chermside offices. Your responsibilities will include answering and managing incoming calls, file and document management, preparation of correspondence, court documents and briefs of evidence, and providing comprehensive day‑to‑day administrative support to the legal team. You will also work closely with other Legal Assistants within the team, contributing to a collaborative working environment and assisting with the training and mentoring of team members as required. Key Responsibilities
- Managing personal injury files from commencement through to resolution
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents, and preparing court materials
- Liaising with clients, insurers, and medical providers
- Coordinating key deadlines, appointments, and case-related activities
- Providing high-level support to solicitors across complex matters Experience and Qualifications This role is suited to someone who can hit the ground running, bringing strong technical skills and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast‑paced and rewarding workplace. You will play a key role in supporting matters end‑to‑end and proactively assisting lawyers across all stages of the file lifecycle. With your well‑developed client service skills, you will build trusted relationships with clients, often acting as a primary point of contact and maintaining regular communication throughout their matter.
