Senior Accountant (North Lakes)

Zylo has teamed up with a well established and now growing accounting firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team to be based in their North Lakes office. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support
- Ad-hoc tasks as required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA qualification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
- Robust understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
