Payroll & Accounts Officer (Part-Time) | Xero | North Lakes (or Gympie) Superior Home Health Services (SHHS) is a purpose-led home care provider supporting clients across South East Queensland. We’re looking for a capable Payroll & Accounts Officer (Part-Time) to join our Corporate Services team and keep our payroll and invoicing running smoothly. Why SHHS?

- Systems in place: We use Xero and Visual Care, with a robust emphasis on accuracy, documentation and compliance. The role You’ll be responsible for timesheet validation, payroll processing, invoicing and reconciliations across Xero and Visual Care. Hours and location
- Permanent part-time: 14–18 hours per week
- Must be available Monday and Tuesday
- Flexible options:
- 3 days (school hours welcome), or
- 2 full business days
- Based at North Lakes (preferred) or Gympie office
- No after-hours requirement Key responsibilities
- Timesheet checking and exception management (Visual Care)
- Payroll processing and payroll record maintenance (Xero Payroll)
- Invoicing and debtor maintenance (Xero)
- Bank reconciliations and finance administration
- Set up new employees and clients in Xero
- Support accurate reporting and strong record keeping What you’ll bring
- Strong experience with Xero (payroll, invoicing, reconciliations)
- Prior experience in a payroll/accounts role (2+ years preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work to deadlines and communicate clearly Desirable
- Experience in aged care, disability, healthcare or other award-based environments
- Experience with Visual Care (or similar rostering/care platforms)
- Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping or Diploma of Accounting Remuneration
