- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
- As Product Quality & Recovery Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, coach and develop the Product Quality & Recovery team to deliver exceptional customer-focused results.
- Co-operate across functions to ensure everyone understands and contributes to the Product Recovery, Quality & Compliance process.
- Set goals and key measures for Product RecSet goals and key measures for Product Recovery, Quality & Compliance (PQR&C;) and continuously improve our daily performance in line with IKEA standards. overy, Quality & Compliance (PQR&C;) and continuously improve our daily performance in line with IKEA standards.
- Ensure the team takes timely and appropriate actions according to IKEA Australia’s working methods and compliance guidelines.
- Present and sell As-Is products with pride and purpose, setting compelling prices that delight customers while achieving great results for the store.
- Actively contribute to commercial activities throughout the year, with the 2nd life product offer (Buy-back and As-Is online market), providing a more affordable and circular choice to customers.
**Who you are**
- As Product Quality & Recovery Manager you are:
- You are a confident leader with a passion for sustainability and are determined to make a difference.
- You bring strong business acumen, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to achieving results.
- A track record of delivering on sales KPIs and budgets, with the ability to maximise profitability and growth.
- Previous experience managing and leading teams in a big box or high-volume home furnishing business, with demonstrated success in driving sales growth.
- A growth mindset, you view challenges as opportunities, value feedback as an opportunity to grow, curious to learn and develop & share your knowledge with others.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and align others to your vision.
- Pro-active and analytical, with a focus on identifying root causes and taking the lead in reaching better ways of working within the product quality, safety, and recovery processes.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps (MS Excel intermediate to advanced level).
