Senior Accountant North Lakes

Zylo has teamed up with a well established and now growing accounting firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team to be based in their North Lakes office.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations

Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support

Ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA or CA qualification preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting

Robust understanding of accounting principles and practices

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
