As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking Trade Assistants to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Adelaide (Beverly) within our Assembly Department. Schedule Full Time and Casual positions available A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime). Wage (Negotiable

The Position This role is hands-on and requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The successful candidate will work closely with leading hands to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
- Construct switchboard frameworks as per the mechanical drawings.
- Ensure the base frame aligns with the drawing and meets the inspection checks.
- Safely and carefully install switchgear.
- Materials and components are inspected for quality and quality before construction.
- Verify that the equipment/stock being used is as per the drawing.
- Use of general hand tools. The Candidate We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate solid communication skills, and have the ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a high standard of work. Desired Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret control schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience in carrying out control wiring
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Trade Assistant or labouring experience (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
