About the Business Bonds Transport Group is a same-day local courier service provider with operations in every Australian capital city. Due to continued organisational growth, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Fleet and Administration Manager to join our Adelaide team, reporting directly to the South Australia State Manager. The Opportunity As the Fleet and Administration Manager, you will be based in our new Adelaide office, working closely with customers, suppliers, and drivers to build strong working relationships that support both our clients and the Bonds business. Key Responsibilities
- Provide quote estimates using the Bonds booking systems.
- Coordinate, monitor and manage jobs for local and national clients.
- Coordinate timeslot bookings for LCL/SDL in line with company procedures.
- Prepare and distribute daily operational reports accurately and on time.
- Update job costings to ensure clients are invoiced correctly and drivers are paid accurately.
- Communicate any job modifications affecting costs to clients verbally and electronically.
- Liaise daily with customers, drivers, and external suppliers to achieve the best operational outcomes.
- Lead the end-to-end driver recruitment process, maintaining a strong pipeline of quality drivers to meet operational and customer demands.
- Support and manage the performance of the subcontractor fleet, including coaching, guidance, and issue resolution where required.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within the wider Bonds team.
- Contribute positively to company culture by acting professionally and in the best interests of the organisation. Key Attributes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus and relationship-building ability.
- Experience in administration and reporting.
- Previous fleet management experience is highly regarded.
- Experience in driver recruitment, including advertising and interviewing, is desirable.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
