Supervisor Maintenance (Narembeen)

Overview Civmec is an Australian‑owned, integrated, multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider catering to the energy, resources, infrastructure, marine and defence sectors. We are looking for experienced casual Mechanical Supervisors to join our Maintenance division and support major shutdowns in the resources sector. Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment within process plants and conveyor systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical fitters, providing guidance and support.
- Liaise with client representatives on technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and delivery coordination.
- Maintain QA standards and provide accurate weekly reporting.
- Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace. Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Australian recognised trade certificate in Engineering (Mechanical).
- Experience on large‑scale construction and/or maintenance projects in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of conveyor systems, balance machines, mineral processing plant, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience managing and driving completions and work crews.
- Well‑honed project planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management.
