About the role As a Chef at Eclipse Brewery in Northam, WA 6401, you will play a vital role in crafting delicious, high-quality meals that complement our renowned range of craft beers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and contribute to the continued success of our growing hospitality business. What you'll be doing
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and refine our seasonal menu
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality
- Participate in regular team meetings to share ideas and identify areas for improvement
- Assist with inventory management and order placement to keep the kitchen well-stocked What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Passion for creating unique, flavourful dishes using high-quality, fresh ingredients
- Familiarity with beer and food pairing principles
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification required
