Job Description Responsibilities Include: Own mechanical design and delivery osubsystems from concept through manufacturing release Produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and supporting calculations. Own manufacturability and production readiness of assigned subsystems, ensuring designs are robust in real-world manufacturing environments Utilise manufacturing experience for continuous improvement of design standards, manufacturability, and cost. Lead rapid resolution of design issues arising from manufacturing and supplier feedback to maintain delivery momentum Own engineering interface with international suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and progress toward delivery Guide and review work from junior engineers to ensure quality and delivery of assigned work Champion professional standards of engineering integrity, safety, and sustainability within the team. Required Experience Degree Qualified (Mechanical/Structural/Marine) 5-10 years hands-on experience designing mechanical systems in a production workplace Proven ability to deliver designs from concept to production in marine, wind, offshore or similar environments Proficiency in Siemens NX, Inventor (or equivalent 3D CAD) Experience working with fabrication, welding, or large structural assemblies. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles. Proven experience driving cost-reductions to achieve targets.
