Operations Controller (Bomaderry)

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and safety focused **_Operations Controller _**to join our team, based in Bomaderry on a full-time basis. This is an ideal role for those who are wanting to commence their career in Transport and Logistics.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager this position will be primarily responsible for:

- Coordination and scheduling of fleet and staff movement including monitoring hours and delays;
- Allocation and coordination of customer bookings & deliveries;
- Building relationships with current customer base and ensuring a high level of service is offered;
- Out of hours on-call rotating roster;
- Monitor and manage all aspects of fatigue compliance;
- Supervision and management of direct staff;
- Assist with payroll-related activities;
- Assist with the commercial process of the division when required.

**To be successful in this energetic role you will have**:

- Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics;
- Willingness to collaborate within a motivated team;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail;
- Previous experience or understanding of COR, NHVAS, BFM and Mass Management compliance accreditation systems and regulatory requirements;
- The ability to do some short term travel, if required.
