The Opportunity We are seeking a high-calibre Account Manager to take over an established and well-developed customer portfolio. This is a high-trust transition role focused initially on protecting and strengthening existing customer relationships, before progressing into portfolio growth and new business development over time. This is not a cold-start sales role — it is an opportunity to step into a relationship-driven territory with genuine long-term growth potential. Your Focus (Phased Priorities) Phase 1 – Account Retention & Growth (Initial Priority)
- Seamlessly transition existing customer relationships
- Build credibility and trust with key decision-makers
- Maintain continuity of service and protect the current customer base
- Identify and deliver growth within existing accounts through range expansion and improved share of wallet Phase 2 – Portfolio Growth (Ongoing)
- Drive targeted new business opportunities within the territory
- Expand the customer base while maintaining strong retention and service standards
- Build a sustainable pipeline of future growth opportunities What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing and developing an established portfolio of customers
- Delivering structured call cycles and territory planning
- Identifying commercial opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintaining high service standards and customer engagement
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver consistent outcomes
