Sales/Admin Assistant (Nunawading)

REV-Bikes are a well-established E-Bike Company, who have been adding electric systems to regular bicycles for over 16 years, helping people to do more with their bicycle. We focus on high quality custom installations of hub and mid drive motors, and pride ourselves in matching the ideal system to each individual customer & bike. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Admin Assistant to join our small team at our store in Nunawading. Beginning as part-time 20 hours per week, and potentially scaling up to a full time role by late Spring. This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining customer sales, retail support, and administrative duties. You will be the friendly face of the store—helping customers select the right bikes, motors, batteries, and accessories, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations behind the scenes between customers. If you are energetic, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences, this role could be a great fit for you. We'd prefer you have some knowledge of bicycles, and compassion for those who want assistance on their ride. An outstanding ability to develop rapport with people will shine through, particularly whilst learning the specifics of the products and services we offer. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers in-store, via phone, and email
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable bicycles, motor systems and accessories
- Drive sales through consultative selling and product knowledge
- Handle customer enquiries and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
- Support after-sales service and customer retention Administration & Operations
- Process sales accurately using POS systems
- Complete Job Sheets with customer, for each service job coming in
- Assist with invoicing, quotes, deliveries, and general admin tasks
- Support store presentation, merchandising, and displays
- Creating occasional social media posts
- Shopify website maintenance (updates, adjustments, improvements) Stock & Inventory Support
- Assist with stock management, price tagging, and receiving deliveries
- Support stocktakes and inventory reporting
- Monitor and report low stock levels
- Ordering of stock Team Support
- Work closely with the sales and workshop teams
- Support marketing promotions and in-store campaigns
- Contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident in customer service and/or retail sales
- Strong communicator with a friendly and qualified approach
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, & Xero
- Experience working on Shopify websites (preferred but not essential)
- Sales-driven with a willingness to learn and grow
- Passionate about bikes or the cycling lifestyle (preferred but not essential)
