Stair Installer (Blackburn)

Eric Jones Staribuilding Group is an Australian family owned business which has been leading the Victorian staircase manufacturing industry since 1947. We're looking for an experienced steel stair installer who knows the trade, takes pride in their work, and is ready to join a business that will back them long term. - we'd love to talk. The Role: This is a hands on, site-based position across Melbourne and surrounds. You'll be installing architectural steel staircases, handrails and balustrades on residential and commercial projects
- working to tight tolerances and high finish standards.
- Installation of steel stairs, handrails, balustrades
- Structural steel component installation
- Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings
- Working to client specifications, deadlines and quality standards
- Problem solving and adjusting installations onsite where required
- Adhering to site safety requirements at all times What We're Looking For: Experience is everything in this role. We're not looking for someone to train from scratch, we want someone who has done this before and does it well.
- Proven experience installing steel stairs, handrails, balustrades

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Valid driver's licence and White Card (Construction Induction)
- Welding experience, stainless steel or fabrication background
