We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Accounts Payable Officer to join our Salvos Store Finance team in Blackburn.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accounts payable processing and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support The Salvation Army retail stores.

Key responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable: Process Accounts Payable invoices, Petty Cash and the reconciliation of suppliers’ statements and review, verify for payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Ensure that all invoices are processed correctly and timely. Maintain the debtor detail and update the AR ledger/chart frequently.
- Reporting: Assist with the production of various financial and management reports. Prepare monthly accruals and assisting with month end and year end closing and reporting.
- Provide support and assistance as required in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Management.

About You

Key Capabilities:

- Diploma in accounting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
