The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated full time Web Developer to join our Digital Engagement team. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, optimisation and continuous improvement of PositiveMedia's websites and digital platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing website performance, user experience and digital engagement while supporting the organisation's strategic digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and continually improve websites supporting PositiveMedia's radio stations, syndicated and local shows, podcasts, fundraising initiatives and business activities. Manage and maintain PositiveMedia websites, ensuring high levels of availability, performance and reliability. Optimise website performance, user experience and content engagement. Implement and maintain technical SEO improvements and website performance enhancements. Manage website hosting environments, including development, staging and production environments. Manage website security, including SSL certificates, HTTPS implementation, malware protection and remediation. Configure and maintain website caching and performance optimisation tools. Support and maintain integrations between websites, music player applications and other third-party platforms. Liaise with external service providers and developers where required to support website functionality and integrations. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve website issues and technical faults. Identify, evaluate and implement new web technologies, tools and integrations to improve website functionality and performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver website enhancements and digital solutions that support organisational objectives. Maintain website documentation and digital assets. Keep up to date with developments in web technologies, content management systems and emerging digital tools. Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Web Development or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience. Minimum two years of relevant experience in website development, maintenance and administration. Experience developing and maintaining websites using WordPress and related technologies. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS. Experience managing website hosting environments using cPanel or similar platforms. Experience managing DNS, SSL certificates, CDN services and website security. Experience implementing website integrations, plugins and third-party web services. Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable Skills Experience with mobile application technologies such as Swift or React Native. Experience with website analytics, optimisation and performance monitoring tools. Experience working with digital asset management systems and multimedia content platforms. About You You will have strong technical web development skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.
