**THE ROLE**

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a Full time Marketing Assistant to work with our in-house marketing and graphic design departments.

This is a dream entry level marketing role where you will be part of a very successful marketing team, in an incredibly successful Australian business. In this role you will learn everything you need to know to launch your marketing career. You will be exposed to all facets of the marketing function for the Beacon Group, as well as being involved in the broader coordinating and planning for all our marketing activity and providing administrative support to the marketing team

**Other key responsibilities include**:

- Support the strategy team across retail and trade
- Planning, coordinating and executing local area marketing strategies and activities to achieve traffic, sales and growth targets
- Coordinating the Point of Sale and other print material for our extensive network of 130 stores (and growing!)
- Briefing artwork requests to our internal design team from marketing and other internal departments
- Managing printing requirements for stores
- Producing internal ‘Ad News’ publication to brief stores on marketing activity
- Providing administrative support to the marketing team
- Assisting with weekly invoices and maintaining monthly invoice tracking

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

- Tertiary qualification in Marketing
- Demonstrated experience working with teams of people
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Fast, efficient worker with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to take initiative when needed
- Great communication skills
- Possess, and be able to demonstrate, a strong worth ethic
- A desire to learn and grow while contributing to the marketing team objectives
