Test Lead (Blackburn)

Davidson has proudly partnered with a leading utilities organization to assist them in their search for an experienced Test lead.

**About the Role**

This role will see you working as a Test Lead, to bring the end-to-end testing together for Digital Metering.

Key accountabilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end Test Strategy/Approach for Digital Metering Rollout, working with cross functional teams and a multifaceted program
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, leveraging project test plans and test resources, for Digital Metering initiatives
- Coordinate creation of users and projects in test tools, and document test cases and scenarios using Test Tools
- Lead defect triage activities, report test progress and defects using tools such as JIRA, Xray, and SILK.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, participate in Sprint Retrospectives, Demos, and Showcases, and provide daily status updates
- Identify and mitigate project and testing risks, formulate strategies for non-functional testing, and collaborate closely with the Test Manager to enhance testing capability.

**About You**
- Significant prior experience as a Test lead in large, complex environments
- Proven experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies
- Previous experience as a Test Lead within utilities (Highly Advantageous)
- Showcase ability to identify and mitigate project and testing risks
- Experience in User Experience Testing and Agile working methodologies.
