Position Overview Full‑time, fixed term (12 months) — classification HEO‑7 — salary $102,589 – $113,561 — location Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View. Responsibilities
- Provision of operational support to agreed levels, identifying and rectifying faults within appropriate timelines and liaising with vendors.
- Support stakeholders in developing, implementing and managing the vision and roadmap for the university’s Digital Workplace services, ensuring alignment with IDS and Flinders strategic objectives.
- Provide timely and effective advice to customers and stakeholders, identifying improvements to support services and enabling adoption of new technologies.
- Identify, manage and mitigate risks related to activities undertaken by the role in line with IDS and Flinders University policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience
- Customer‑service focus with proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a complex environment, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Purview.
- Operational support experience at level 2 and level 3 (triage, incident resolution, escalation management).
- Strong interest or experience in security, governance and up-to-date workplace evolution; familiarity with MS Purview, MS Security/Defender, information and data security.
- Experience with Windows 10/Windows 11 and end‑point management.
- Knowledge and experience with automation across M365 using PowerShell and Power Automate.
- Preference for candidates who balance day‑to‑day support with continuous improvement and are service‑mindful rather than purely project‑focused. Prescribed Conditions for Employment Appointment to this role is conditional on the completion of required pre‑employment checks and declarations, each of which must be satisfactory to the University. This includes a Gender‑Based Violence declaration, in accordance with the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender‑Based Violence (2025), and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
