About the Role As our Head Chef / Senior Chef, you will play a vital role in the ongoing success and growth of the café. You will have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the menu, establish professional kitchen standards, and contribute to the long-term vision of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily kitchen operations.
- Create, develop, and introduce new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Establish and maintain high kitchen standards, systems, and procedures.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen team members.
- Manage stock, ordering, food costs, and waste control.
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with management to support the café's long-term growth and development. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef, Senior Chef, or Head Chef.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Creativity and passion for menu development.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
