About the Role

This is more than reactive maintenance.

As an Electrical Reliability Technician, you’ll focus on improving equipment reliability and eliminating repeat electrical and control system failures across a high-volume packaging setting. Working closely with production and engineering, you’ll take ownership of electrical performance, fault finding, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate electrical and control system faults and conduct root cause analysis

Improve reliability of motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and packaging line control systems

Perform planned and breakdown electrical maintenance and support commissioningIdentify critical components and manage electrical spare parts

Support apprentices and contractors with a strong safety focus

Contribute to improvement and reliability projects across automation and control systems

Contribute to improvement and reliability projects

What You’ll Bring

Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environments

Solid fault-finding skills across electrical and control systems

Experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and electrical drawings

Ability to use CMMS and basic computer systems

Exposure to TPM / 5S or reliability frameworks

PLC experience (e.g. Siemens / Allen‑Bradley)

Forklift, EWP or other high‑risk licences
