Hospitality Casual - Whistler Wines Cellar Door (Stone Well)

Whistler Wines is a small family run business located on the iconic Seppeltsfield road. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service by providing a friendly and engaging environment.

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic casual to join our Cellar Door team, to run indoor tastings and serve drinks and platters to our guest in the garden.

The role will include 1-2 shifts per week initially increasing to 3-5 shifts a week for the summer school holidays with a mix of weekdays and weekends.

This position is ideally suited to someone with experience in cellar doors, but is open to anyone interested in learning about wine.
- Be an outgoing individual who enjoys building relationships with customers.
- Strive for excellent customer service while maintaining a focus on sales opportunities.
- Be able to work in both slow and fast-paced environments.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
- Work well in a team as well as independently with initiative.
- Have (or be willing to get) their RSA and driver’s license.

The role will include:

- Running structured seated tastings.
- Serving and clearing indoor & outdoor tables.
- Polishing glassware and washing dishes.
- Processing financial transactions.
- Packing wine orders and preparing shipments.
- Maintaining shelf stock and Cellar Door appearance.

Pay: From $28.66 per hour
