Quarry Operator - Truro

THE ROLE An exciting prospect exists for reliable, experienced Quarry Operator to become an integral part of our team at our Truro Quarry. We are looking for someone with experience in excavator (up to 75 tonne), front-end loader (FEL) and articulated dump truck operation. The work activities include but are not limited to hauling raw feed, loading road trucks, feeding the crushing and screening plant and basic maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIIES
- Ensure safety, health and environmental standards are maintained
- Complete pre-start checks
- Operate mobile plant and equipment
- Basic housekeeping and maintenance of quarry equipment
- Labouring duties
- Performing plant and process inspections QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
- Experience of new mobile crushing equipment preferred
- Experience operating heavy mobile equipment is essential
