About the Role Reporting to the Director, this role is responsible for managing residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from start to finish. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure all matters are handled efficiently, professionally and in line with legislative requirements. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation and communication are key. You will also play a role in maintaining and building relationships within the local property and business community. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end conveyancing files for residential and commercial sales and purchases
- Prepare contracts, Form 1s and all supporting documentation
- Coordinate settlements, key dates and client communications
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders and other stakeholders
- Undertake searches, lodgements and transactions via online platforms (including PEXA and RevenueSA)
- Maintain accurate and well-organised client files and records
- Support trust account processes and compliance requirements (in due course)
- Prepare settlement figures and assist with financial transactions where required
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the industry
- Contribute to business development and community engagement activities
- Support the broader team and day-to-day operations of the office About You You are an experienced Conveyancer with 3-5 years' experience, confident managing your own files and delivering a high standard of service. You're organised, detail-oriented and able to balance multiple priorities with professionalism and accuracy. You're also seeking a long-term opportunity where you can build strong relationships and become a valued part of a close-knit team. You'll bring:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and legislative requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confidence using online systems and platforms (PEXA experience highly regarded)
