Food Services Assistant (Oakleigh)

The Fryazino is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

**As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

The Fryazino is a private hospital with 86 inpatient rehabilitation beds, 25 inpatient mental health beds and Day Rehabilitation Services. We currently offer orthopaedic, neurological and reconditioning rehabilitation programs & group based mental health services. Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Prior experience in a private hospital setting or 5-star hotel environment
- Food Handling Certificate
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts
- early/late shifts & weekend work
- opportunity for permanent part-time following a successful probationary period

Pay: $24.95
- $37.97 per hour
