Van Driver (Oakleigh South)

As our **Van Driver**, you’ll be operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. You’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that!

This role is an permanent part time position working Monday to Friday, starting at 6:45am and finishing at 11:45am

Pay rate is $31.49 per hour + 12% super + 4 weeks leave accrued per year pro rata and other personal leave benefits.

**You’ll be**
- Required to safely perform and operate a van to perform duties such as picking up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres.
- Required to pick up mail and parcel items from our customers.
- Unload mail articles from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts.
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
- Paired up with our experienced senior drivers, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development.

**About you**
- You hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence.
- You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment.
- You're adaptable with working additional hours if required.
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly.
- You'll need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
