We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you’re an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment. Where you’ll work Located in Oakleigh, St Johns Preschool is a bright, open kindergarten with a large outdoor play space. Our high-quality, play-based program supports children’s curiosity, creativity, and learning, and we are looking for educators to join our dedicated team and help enrich our vibrant learning environment. Role Details: Diploma Educator Monday and Thursday – 12:00pm to 2:00pm 4 lunch cover hours per week What You’ll Do As a Lunch Cover Educator, you’ll:
- Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play
- Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward one of these qualifications)
- Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
