Part/Full Time Medical Receptionist (Murrumbeena)

**About us**

Glen Eira Physiotherapy and Physiolates Centre is a large Physiotherapy clinic located in the new One Space Health Medical Centre in Murrumbeena, Melbourne. Our experienced team of physiotherapists and other allied health professionals have been providing physiotherapy and pilates services for the past 25 years. We are team and patient focused and pride ourselves on an extremely high level of customer care. This role is suited to a vibrant, positive, highly organised and energetic person looking for a new challenge. Our busy clinic is open 6 days a week. We are offering either a full time position or 2 permanent part time roles of 15-20 hours per week to cover 1 Full Time load.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Experience in Physiotherapy or Allied health/Medical Reception and administration an advantage.\.
- Experience in Pracsuite/Front desk software is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in any medical software and use of hicaps/tyro.
- You should be personable, friendly and client focused. In addition be accountable and have meticulous attention to detail.
- You should have excellent communication skills.
- You should ideally be looking for a career/long term role in health administration.
- You should be able to work well under pressure in a high paced environment. We are an extremely busy clinic and the role involves multi tasking.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Welcoming patients to the clinic
- Answering phone calls and managing existing clients and new patients, including scheduling appointments.
- Billing and payments through Hicaps, Medicare, DVA, Workcover, TAC and NDIS
- Scanning of documents and reports.
- Pilates class bookings and waitlists.
- Light Cleaning and laundry
- Product and stationary inventory
- General duties as required in the clinic.
