**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Salary**:$66,921
- $72,661 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience) **Time Fraction**:Full Time, 1.0 EFT.*** **Location**:Chadstone campus. **WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. **Position Status**:Ongoing contract of appointment with a 6-month qualifying period.
The Centre of Cyber Security and Digital Information Technology provides a progressive, innovative, supportive learning environment with strong industry links.
This position involves the installation and configuration of hardware and software, providing customer service to our student cohorts in troubleshooting technical issues, configuration and setup of computers, updating and maintaining the department’s NETLAB+ modules, running security patches, creating custom server and virtual images, running maintenance backups, providing technical support to instructors and provide advice and recommendations to the Head of Department for the maintenance, development and forward planning of IT services.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Understanding of system analysis and design principles including Identity Management, virtualisation and Active Directory.
- Ability to coordinate workflow, prioritise work tasks effectively and work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to show initiative, a demonstrated capacity for self-directed work as well as the ability to working cooperatively, flexibly and harmoniously within a team environment.
- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Systems Administration or similar IT discipline with relevant experience.
