**About the Role**

As a** Food Services Assistant**, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious and enjoyable meals. Your responsibilities will include:

- ** Meal Preparation**:Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- ** Dining Experience**:Set up and maintain a welcoming dining environment, enhancing the mealtime experience.
- ** Hygiene Standards**:Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Collaborate with the culinary team**to prepare and serve meals that meet residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
- ** Ensure the dining areas are clean, organized, and inviting,**creating a pleasant atmosphere for residents.
- ** Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards,**including proper storage and handling of food items.
- ** Assist in inventory management**, monitoring stock levels, and reporting needs for replenishment.
- ** Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner,**addressing any dietary concerns or special requests.

**What We’re Looking For**
- ** Team Player**:Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
- ** Attention to Detail**:Keen eye for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- ** Communication Skills**:Effective verbal communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
- ** Adaptability**:Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the kitchen and dining services.
- ** Availability**: Part-time position: 30-75 hrs/fortnight, with shifts available Monday to Sunday.

**Requirements**:

- A current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
