This is a fantastic opportunity to not only practice your craft but also step into a role with managerial responsibilities, leading our dynamic barbershop operations and training the next generation of skilled barbers. Your Duties & Responsibilities
- Exceptional Barbering: Providing a full range of high-quality barbering services, including classic and contemporary haircuts, fades, shaves, and beard trims.
- Client Consultation: Consulting with clients on desired styles and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Managerial Tasks: Assisting the owner with daily shop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining high standards in ensuring all policy and procedures are being implemented by junior staff at all times.
- Prior management or leadership experience in a barbershop environment is preferred for this role.
- Staff Training: Mentoring, engaging and training junior staff and apprentices to ensure service quality and consistency across the team.
- Customer Service: Maintaining a professional and friendly rapport with all clients to ensure repeat business.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrating and promoting retail hair care and styling products.
- This role requires dedication as you will need to be available two evenings per week. The successful candidate must be available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings each week. Qualifications & Experience / What we are looking for
- Certificate III in Barbering and a minimum of 2 yearspost-qualification experience OR at least 3 yearscontinuous, professional experience in a Barbershop environment.
- Proven reliability and strong communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for the industry and a desire to lead and inspire the next generation of barbers.
