Description
We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team at Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort. The position is full time. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of $73,000 to $75,000 per annum + superannuation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure seamless service and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage by assigning tasks, coordinating work shifts, timetables, and staff leave.
• Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning and development.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and experience through excellent service.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain stock and restaurant supplies.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure that the restaurant adheres to all sanitation, health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and staff training to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability.
• Generate and analyse sales and revenue reports, creating strategies to improve profitability.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Plan and coordinate special events and private functions for customers.
Skills, Experience and Qualification:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager
• Hold relevant qualification in Hospitality Management
• Strong communication skills
• Good leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
