Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Pre‑Contracts Manager located in Orange, NSW. The Pre‑Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing pre‑contract activities, including preparing competitive tenders, assessing project feasibility, managing risk assessments, and negotiating contract terms. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project bids are accurate, cost‑effective, and compliant with client requirements. The successful candidate will ensure streamlined tendering processes and support the strategic growth of the business.

Qualifications

Robust experience in contract management, tendering, and project cost estimation

Analytical skills for conducting project feasibility studies and risk assessments

Effective negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

Proficiency in relevant tools and software for costing, reporting, and documentation

In-depth understanding of the civil construction industry, particularly in mining, energy, and resource sectors

Ability to work under deadlines and handle complex projects with minimal supervision

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
