Cnc & Edgebander Operator Ormeau

Urban Kitchens and Joinery specialise in mid to high end residential fitouts, as well as offering a cut to size service to external cabinetmakers.

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join our agile team. We have an Anderson CNC (2 years old), a Holzer edgebander (1 year old) and an Altendorf panel saw (6 months old).

Requirements:

Experience in the industry as a CNC and edgebander operator

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precision work

Familiarity with various materials commonly used in cabinetmaking

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Forklift license preferred but not essential

Ability to work to a set schedule and deadlines

Able to work effectively as part of a team and unsupervised

Commitment to OH&S; and quality assurance

Team player with a positive work ethic

Hours:

Mon-Thu: 6am-2:30pm

Fri: 6am-12pm

Job Types: Full time, Casual

Salary: $28.00
- $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

8 hour shift

Afternoon shift

Day shift

Evening shift

Supplemental pay types:

Overtime pay

CNC programming: 1 year (preferred)

Edgebander Operation: 1 year (preferred)
