**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Track sales performance and monitor inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
- Research trade, manufacturing, and market trends to stay updated and adjust purchasing strategies.
- Negotiate purchasing, promotional, and supply terms with vendors to secure the best deals and maintain product quality.
- Develop and execute pricing, marketing, promotional, and merchandising plans to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with management on long-term strategies, sales promotions, and product range.
- Establish working plans based on seasonal trends and budget requirements.
- Anticipate consumer trends and determine the appropriate quantity and quality of goods to be purchased.
- Evaluate and select products based on key criteria such as quality, price, and market demand.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods to meet customer demand.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- AQF Certificate III or IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail buying, purchasing, and market analysis.
- Robust negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
- A keen interest in consumer trends and product quality.
