About us Stirling Community Early Learning Centre is a Not For Profit Child Care Centre. We are nestled in the beautiful Adelaide hills catering for up 54 children per day. The Centre has a low sugar, no added salt diet and caters for dietary needs including preferences, allergies and intolerances. We have a minimum waste approach and left over foods are composted back into the garden. We have a lovely community of families, children and educators. Qualifications & experience
- Food handling certificate and experience
- WWCC required
- Cooking qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience cooking for children
- Established time management skills
- Australian work rights are required for this position Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of Lunch and Morning/Afternoon Tea for the children
- Working with the existing menu & be involved in developing seasonal menus
- Dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties
- Reading and implementing the Centre Food Safety Plan
- Ordering and purchasing of food supplies
