We’ve officially opened our doors in the beautiful Adelaide Hills — and we’re looking for a talented and passionate Cook to join our growing team. Our café is all about fresh, wholesome, seasonal food that’s anything but boring. Think vibrant salads, nourishing soups, loaded sourdough sandwiches, and flavour-packed brunches that look as good as they taste. About the Role You’ll work closely with the Café Manager to continue evolving our menu and kitchen systems, while playing a key role in day-to-day service. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, quality-focused café where consistency, creativity, and teamwork matter. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a rotating menu of healthy, seasonal dishes
- Contribute to menu development, specials, and ongoing improvements
- Ensure quality, presentation, and consistency in every plate
- Manage kitchen prep, stock control, food safety, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with front-of-house for smooth daily service
- Maintain a calm, organised kitchen environment — even during the rush What You Bring
- Experience as a café cook or chef in a fast-paced, quality-focused venue
- A passion for fresh produce, wholefoods, and creating beautiful food
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Creativity and input on menus, plating, and prep processes
