Chef, Cook, Trade Waiter and Restaurant Manager Spritz Spizzicheria, Italian restaurant located in Mount Hawthorn, is looking for Full Time experienced Chef, Cook, Trade Waiter and Restaurant Manager to join their team. Chef Duties to be performed:
- Planning menus, study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Estimate food/menu costs and manage the budget
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Hire, train and manage kitchen staff
- Check freshness of food and monitor food stock
- Manage the stocks levels and the orders
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Ensure appealing plate presentation and assume responsibility for the quality of products served. Requirement:
· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
· At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.

- Prepare meals in line with the restaurant standards
- Support the ordering of food and supplies
- Care for food supplies and leftovers appropriately
- Infusing flavours by adding seasonings
- Maintain and operate the kitchen in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner during the cooking process
- Prepare meals for special events and additions functions, adjusting the dishes accordingly with the dietary needs of the customers
- Artfully plating dishes with appropriate portions, accompanied by sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
- Develop menu suggestion
- Check on store food and supplies are delivered
- Controlling the temperature of ovens, grills, and various cooking equipment Requirements:
· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.

· outstanding knowledge of Italian cuisine and excellent management skills. Trade Waiter Main duties and responsibilities:
· Prepare dining spaces by organizing place settings, linens, and cutlery in readiness for service
· Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with booking confirmation, and introduce menu and drink offerings
· Offer tailored food and wine pairing suggestions based on menu selections and guest preferences
· Record diner selections accurately and communicate requests to culinary and bar teams
· Deliver meals and drinks to patrons while ensuring service standards are upheld
· Uncork wine bottles, mix cocktails, and support in managing beverage inventory and storage areas
· Reset and clean dining surfaces post-meal, transporting used items back to kitchen areas
· Collect used drinkware and containers, replenishing beverages and replacing glassware as necessary
· Finalize guest transactions, handle billing procedures, and operate electronic payment systems Requirement
- Relevant qualification and at least 1-year relevant work experience or
- at least 18 months’ relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa or
- at least 2 years relevant experience;

- Menu planning in collaboration with the head chef
- Managing day to day operation of the business referring to the owner
- Managing budget and cash deck transactions
- Meeting and coordinating with suppliers and vendors in alignment with the business budget and quality standards

- Ensuring all areas are organized and well presented in according to the health and safety policies and procedures
- Hiring and training new staff and managing the rosters
