About You You are an experienced Finance Manager with the skills to manage the day-to-day financial operations at Atlas Building (WA). Your ability to execute the financial strategy for the business will ensure you are achieving the required outcomes. About the Prospect
- Lead and manage a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the General Manager and operational teams to support project costing, margin analysis, project performance and commercial decision‑making.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts and forecasts.
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Forecast cash flow and manage working capital.
- Support strategic initiatives, including business case development and capex analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the optimisation of reporting systems.
- Oversee external audit processes and liaise with auditors and external advisors as required.
- Meet obligations including, but not limited to, annual FBT return, insurance renewals and other statutory deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (AASB), and corporate governance requirements. Qualifications and Skills
- Australian recognised bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
- CA or CPA qualifications.
- Experienced in a construction, or an industrial environment.
- Hands‑on, practical approach to finance operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial information into business insights.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on driving business performance and growth.
