About Us Wholesale Toners has been distributing high-quality, competitively priced genuine and compatible inkjet and laser toner cartridges, labels, tapes and ribbons since 2003. We are one of the oldest and most experienced distributors in the territory. We pride ourselves on offering the highest industry standard across the four fundamental pillars of our business. About the Role Due to ongoing internal growth, we are now seeking a self-motivated and skilled professional to join the team as a Buyer. This role will be based at our Head Office in Helensvale (QLD). Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be exposed to all aspects of our buying process and strategy
- we have a large online footprint and boast a huge range of products! This is not a transactional buying role or function reliant on historic data. Integral to its success is the ability to manage working capital, supplier relationships and availability in a fast-growing, distribution-led business. Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and plan ahead to ensure suitable inventory levels
- Planning marketing promotions / sales lists with Marketing team, updating and maintaining our website
- Staying ahead of market trends and sourcing new products
- SKU management
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with Suppliers
- Negotiate competitive pricing
- Assist with resolving product queries raised by internal teams Required Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in a procurement or supply chain role
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills, proven in your previous role
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, attested by your work references
- Robust communication and computer literacy skills
- Able to work in a team & independently
- General knowledge of printers, toners, ink and stationery well regarded
