Graphic Design and Ecommerce Support (Helensvale)

The Signal Group is one of Australia’s largest staff identification and branded merchandise providers. Based from our manufacturing facility and distribution centre in South-East Queensland, we service clients Australia wide, supplying customised name badges, personal and ID security solutions, awards, trophies, promotional products, workwear, apparel, headwear and signage

As the Graphic Design & Ecommerce Support team member, you will be responsible for the delivery of the graphic art and design requirements for the purposes of producing goods for sale. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of the business’ customer web portals, and regular additions to the e-commerce sites, with occasional support to production operations.

Key responsibilities will include; Create production templates for printed, manufactured and outsourced products

Efficiently store artwork and templates with accuracy.

Quick response print file creation from inbound design requests

Creating proofs through Indesign/Illustrator for production samples and client approval

Following the production art process so jobs are accurate and ready for production.

Be part of the production team to ensure accuracy of finished products.

Updating, adding and removing products as required, including imagery, prices & description.

Troubleshooting and problem solving to enhance customer experience with sales portals and website

Ensuring accurate master data management alignment with ERP system.

Website and Portal improvements
- Layout, text, graphics etc.

Creating images and designs for online products or promotional activity

Troubleshooting and problem solving.

Opportunity to learn and operate a wide range printing equipment such as name badge digital printers, Laser Cutting software, resin doming machines and heat press machines as required in production environment.

Collaborate with other Team Members including the sales team, graphic designers, and Production Team Leaders / Managers to ensure timely completion of printing projects.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Tertiary Qualification in Graphic Design.

3+ years experience as a Graphic Designer

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and their backend processes (Shopify).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy and able to work to briefs

well organized and able to multi task while managing deadlines and competing priorities

Graphic design skills including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills.

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

Must be self-motivated, and have a positive can-do attitude.

Passion for customer service.
