To support this, we’re seeking a highly organised, solutions-focused and people-oriented Daily Operations Lead to join our team and play a central role in coordinating the day-to-day running of Mancel College. About the role Reporting to senior leadership, the Daily Operations Lead is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the College’s daily operations. This includes timetable management, staff rostering, relief planning, and the practical mechanics of ensuring the College runs seamlessly each day. What you will do As our Daily Operations Lead, you will:
- Develop and maintain the College’s base timetable
- Coordinate and manage staff schedules, rosters, and non-contact time
- Lead and manage the relief staffing function
- Oversee scheduling operations
- Ensure compliance with staff duty limits in line with our Industrial instrument
- Support workforce planning
- Manage leave planning and approvals
- Coordinate daily transport logistics including buses
- Support events and functions
- Facilitate operational communications
- Partner with leaders to coordinate and execute logistical requirements that support the seamless delivery of daily and ad hoc programmes About you You’re confident, practical and demonstrate high attention to detail in complex environments. You will bring
- Proven experience in leading teams and coordinating complex operations
- Robust capability in scheduling, rostering, and resource management in dynamic environments
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing circumstances
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain Experience within an education or school environment is advantageous but not essential.
