OSHC Assistant Coordinator | Pakenham Lakeside

A service based in Pakenham Lakeside is looking for a passionate and organised Assistant Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity.

This is a permanent part time position at 31.25 hours per week all year round
- the perfect balance! Hours will be Monday –Friday, 06:30 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 – 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program). About the role Co-leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft
- whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management

Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
- Warmth, strong communication skills and rapport building are key
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage paperwork
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
