Inventory Assistant (Pakenham)

Avan Campers Australia is a 100% Australian owned business who have been manufacturing recreational vehicles for over 30 years and are located in Pakenham Victoria. Due to an expanding business, we are looking for a dynamic store person with Inventory experience to join or team.

**About the role**: As the Inventory assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are properly processed on time into our inventory system along with other administrative tasks, including but not limited to assisting in other areas in inventory management to optimise stock levels. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Officer.

**Duties**:

- Accurately enter all incoming and outgoing stock movements into our invenotry system in a tiemly manner ensuring correct quantities and pricing.
- Investigate any outstanding orders and communicating findings and resolution to affected parties.
- collaborate with suppliers and procurement team to resolve any discrepancies in received goods.
- Assist the purchasing officer with the process of damaged and faulty goods
- Investigate, resolve and communicate inventory discrepancies
- Support the Purchasing Officer with other administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this position you must:

- Have some understanding of inventory flow, warehouse operations or supply chain management. (additional training will be provided)
- Solid organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $24.11 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
