Store Person - Supply Logistics Vic (Pakenham)

Downer Rail a leading name in the manufacturing and maintenance of rolling stock across Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Store Person to join our team in VIC
- Pakenham.

This is a **6-month Full time position**that will include shift work.

The Store Person will be responsible for the efficient day to day handling of the warehouse, logistics and stock receipting and dispatching.

They will also be required to coordinate plant & equipment maintenance, depot maintenance, contractor coordination, calibration of equipment and some planning tasks.

The store person will also be responsible to provide a high level of customer service to our internal and external customers as well as support company initiatives which improve our service levels to customers.

In addition to the above the store person will also actively participate in quality inspections and audits.

**About You**:

- Meet the requirements of a Rail Safety worker.
- Prepared to work in shifts.
- Hold a current nationally approved LF Forklift / Reach Truck Licence.
- Gantry crane licence desirable.
- Substantial experience in a Warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
- High attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- High level of computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Physically fit and able to lift 20kgs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace.
