**Civil Engineering Technician**

Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working with a long established specialist in providing eco-friendly insulation solutions to enhance energy efficiency and comfort in both new residential and commercial buildings. They pride themselves on using only locally made, Australian products. Increasingly they operate across the Melbourne metro area and beyond. They now seek to appoint a suitably qualified and skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join them in a full time, ongoing role.

**Responsibilities, deliverables**

**Supervision and Installation**: Fieldwork supervision and the installation of insulation materials for roofs, walls, and floors.

**Site Visits**: Routine assessments to guarantee alignment with project specifications, safety protocols, and industry standards.

**Technical Analysis**: Analyzing project specs and selecting the best insulation materials for performance, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.

**Quality Assurance**: Conducting inspections, quality checks, and ensuring compliance with design and regulatory requirements.

**Maintenance and Upgrades**: Organizing and supervising the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of existing insulation systems.

**Technical Support**: Providing advice and solutions to improve insulation performance.

**Coordination**: Liaising with clients, builders, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery.

**Regulatory Compliance**: Ensuring all work aligns with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

**Skills, Attributes and Qualifications**:

- A relevant qualification (minimum Diploma in a highly relevant field _or agreed substitute)._
- At least 1, although preferably more, years of post-qualification experience as a Civil Engineering Technician.
- Good knowledge of eco
- friendly insulation products and their use in the field.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to operate and maintain associated technical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and innovation**.**
