JM Joinery Pambula is hiring a full-time Apprentice Cabinet Maker role in South Pambula, NSW. Apply now to be part of our team. If you are a reliable and self-motivated individual who is keen to learn the skills involved in the sought after cabinet making qualification, this role could be for you! The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (Kitchens & Bathrooms) and complete on the job training in combination with a four-year training program delivered by a registered training organisation. The suitable applicant will be reliable and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position will involve factory and onsite work that requires travel within the local area and surrounds. We will also consider applications from second-year apprentices. Job Requirements
· Assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality cabinetry and joinery units
· Fitting hinges, drawers, doors and shelves
· Assisting in examining designs to determine specifications
· Measuring, cutting and joining timber and other timber-based products
· Carrying out various general workshop duties including cleaning and organising
· Reporting progress to a supervisor/manager
· Assist with the installation of cabinetry in kitchens, residential and commercial spaces Essential Criteria
· Flexibility to travel
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Good communication and organisation skills
· Willingness to learn recent skills Desirable Criteria
