Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Mezcal Pty Ltd Date Posted: 21st May 2026 Position: Waiter Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Mode: Full time Location: Upstairs 5/2 Market St, Merimbula NSW 2548 Experience required: Minimum 1 year experience as a Waiter or relevant We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Waiter to join the dynamic team at Mezcals Tequila Bar & Restaurant, a popular and well-reviewed venue located in the heart of Merimbula, NSW. Specialising in vibrant Mexican cuisine and innovative cocktails, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences that celebrate bold flavours and authentic recipes. The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to: Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and explaining daily specials.
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serving meals and drinks, ensuring a high standard of presentation and timeliness.
- Checking with guests to ensure satisfaction, promptly handling requests or complaints.
- Clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Preparing bills, accepting payment, and processing transactions.
- Assisting with stock rotation, maintaining service stations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Qualifications
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Preferred but not required) Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Waiter or relevant
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team workplace.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
