Disability Support Worker -Park Ridge QLD Alpha Care and Share | Registered NDIS Provider Are you an experienced and compassionate support worker passionate about supporting people with disabilities and making a positive difference in people's lives? Alpha Care and Share is currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to support NDIS participants in North Brisbane. Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants with daily living tasks, emotional wellbeing, and community participation
- Encourage independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Implement strategies from Positive Behaviour Support plans
- Accurately complete documentation and shift notes
- Provide respectful and culturally sensitive care What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting individuals with , stroke Muscular destrophy, psychosocial disabilities, Autism spectrum disorder/ABI.
- Confident in driving in Brisbane.
- Availabilities during weekdays Morning, Afternoon and Night
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and qualified
- Versatile availability and a strong commitment to person-centred care Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
